For a slice of the traditional way of life, travel down to the beaches of Oostdunkerque and if you're early enough, you'll
catch sight of the horseback shrimping that still takes place after centuries. Or take a walk along the column lined walkway
of Ostend's promenade to get the feel of a true Flemish coastal resort.
Things to Buy
No trip to the seaside would be complete sampling some of the delicious seafood on sale. Rubensplein is an area on the eastern
end of Knokke's Albert beach renowned for the quality of its seafood restaurants serving mussels or fish waterzooi. While you are
