We travelled by train to Knokke from Ghent and caught the Kusttram for a sight seeing day out. We had a De Lijn 5 day travel Pass for the tram and used it for our trip that day. This is a way to see all the little seaside towns but not the Sea, this is hidden in most part by the Dunes, after an hour we arrived in Ostend and caught a train to Brugges and continued sight seeing. The Senior Rail Day ticket for 5 euros to any station in Belgium is great for getting around.
