We visited Brussels 2 weeks ago specifically to see the new Magritte Museum which was truly amazing. We went on a Saga weekend break via Eurostar, staying at the Ibis St Catherine which offered an excellent breakfast and was comfortable and clean, will use Ibis again. We also visited the Cartoon Strip Museum, which had a special mention of Tove Jansson of Moomin book fame. We bought a Brussels card for museum entry and Metro use. Loved the architecture, the food, people helpful, and very impressed with the Metro system frequent,efficient and clean, with good disabled access via lifts and escalators. And of course bought a lot of chocolate. My 4th visit to Belgium and can't wait to return, Ghent and Antwerp are on our list for next time.
