Marc Sleen Museum
Visit the Marc Sleen Museum which was recently opened by Albert II King of the Belgians. The museum is just across the road from the Comic Strip Museum in what used to be a newspaper office. There is a permanent exhibition, reading room and series of temporary exhibits which explore the many facets of the exceptional work of a superb storyteller and brillian cartoonist.

Cantillion - The Brussels Gueuze Museum

The museum can be found in the only remaining artisan brewery of Geuze beer in Brussels. Geuze is a speciality of Brussels. This dark, semi-sparking beer is considered “the burgundy of beers”. The museum includes a brewery tour and a beer tasting session.

Bois De La Cambre & Forêt De Soignes
The vast swathe of woodlands begin at the southern end of Ave Louise. Its lakeside lawns and cafés are filled with visitors on weekends. These woods neighbour the much larger Forêt de Soignes, a state-owned forest roamed by wild boar and deer.

Visit the remains of the former palace of Brussels at the Coudenberg archaeological site.
